Chinese investment arriving to Tijuana

Chinese investment valued at US$ 5 million was secured with the arrival of a new company to be installed by late 2017 in Tijuana, reported the Entrepreneurial Organization for Economic Industrial Development in Tijuana (DEITAC). DEITAC’s investment promoter, Irlanda Gil, explained that, to honor the company’s request, its name will not be disclosed until the start of operations, but she explained that an estimated 100 jobs will be created to start activities in the plant. She underscored that this organization has welcomed representatives from this Asian company for a second visit, and they met to walk about town and showcase the industrial capacities Tijuana has.
