Hangzhou XZB Tech Co., a Chinese manufacturer of high precision parts for the auto industry, earlier this month officially opened in the Northern state of Nuevo Leon its first production plant in Mexico.
The company invested US$9 million in its initial phase, which consists of two production lines housed by a 12,000 sq.-mt. facility with enough room for future expansions.
This is also the first plant to officially set operations at the Hofusan Industrial Park, which was co-developed by Nuevo Leon-based and Chinese investors.
Founded in 2002, Hangzhou XZB Tech Co. has made a name among Asian automotive suppliers manufacturing valve train systems and other components for the car industry.
The company provides valve cotters, valve spring retainers, hydraulic lash adjusters and finger followers, push rods and tappets for heavy duty diesel engines.
During the opening ceremony, CEO Zheng Xiaoling named General Motors, Ford and Audi, among the company’s customers.
