City of Eagle Pass Schedules Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
EAGLE PASS, TX – The construction of the new US$3.6 million 3,600-square foot state-of-the-art facility began on August 1, 2022.
The new facility will feature 4 offices, a secure vault room, 2 conference rooms, a new staff parking lot, employee breakroom, traffic supply/equipment room and office supply storage room.
“The new state-of-the-art facility is going to allow for our Bridge System Staff to continue to deliver the highest level of quality services to the public,” said City of Eagle Pass Mayor Rolando Salinas, Jr. “Today’s ribbon cutting ceremony of our new facility marks a new beginning for our Eagle Pass System.”
This building will help support the continued growth at the Port of Eagle Pass, it has been a long time coming and we are happy to bring this facility for our customers and employees to enjoy for many years to come. We want to thank the present and previous Mayor, City Council, and City Administration that paved the way for this Project to become a reality. We also want to thank all the City departments that assisted in making this Project a success. Lastly, we would like to thank our Project Engineer, Project Architect and General Contractor for Delivering a high-quality facility,” said Homero Balderas, Bridge Director.
