Companies from Nuevo Leon, seeking to supply Boeing

Representatives of the Monterrey Aerocluster will visit Seattle, in order to promote at least 25 local firms with the potential to integrate the Boeing Company's supply chain. The main objective is that Boeing finds new options in Mexican companies installed in Nuevo Leon, aiming to reinforce their supply chain. "Most of the companies we are promoting are supplier of sub-assemblies to produce elements for aircrafts and helicopters; and are also manufacturers of metal-mechanic and composite material pieces. We will find global firms interested in developing suppliers in the State, placing orders and investing in facilities in Nuevo Leon", emphasized Pauline Medori, Managing Director at Monterrey Aerocluster. By 2016, companies established at the Monterrey Aerocluster will invest a total amount of US$10 million, 13% upper compared with 2015, as estimated by Mrs. Medori by sustaining that the aerospace sector will continue to grow.
