Companies receive the Chihuahua Market Award

CHIHUAHUA - In order to boost the competitiveness of Chihuahua companies, the State Secretariat of Innovation and Economic Development (SIDE) awarded the Chihuahua Market badge to 24 local businesses from different sectors, to promote the identity and consumption of regional products and services.

The award is a recognition of the talent and effort of the entrepreneurs, and offers the beneficiaries a series of advantages such as access to online sales platforms, publicity campaigns, participation in national and international marketing fairs, and training programs.

A total of 74 companies are part of this initiative, in sectors ranging from food and beverages to handicrafts and fashion, which strengthens the sense of cultural belonging in the state.

During the event, the Secretary of Innovation and Economic Development, Ulises Fernández Gamboa, underscored the importance of the Chihuahua Market label in the promotion of products and services.

“This distinctive seeks to raise the competitiveness of Chihuahua companies and encourage pride and preference for what is ours. Each one of these companies represents the talent and labor that characterizes Chihuahua,” said Fernandez.

For her part, businesswoman Kathia Michelle Baca Tapia, from Oatmyes by Sunroc, expressed her gratitude for the recognition and shared her vision of the positive impact of this award on the positioning of Chihuahua products in the national market.

Other beneficiary companies include Papas fritas de la 80, Pinolitas, Cava Artesanal & Co, Corralito de Chihuahua, Fons vitae, Acerodeck, Palabari, Mia'Snacks, Productos Té-Cuida, Cervecería Espántame, La Fortuna Pecan, Marfel, Avanza Empresarial, Arréglalo Chihuahua, Racá Uché, Toque Sazón, Cervecería Copper Lodge, among others.

With this program, the State Government reaffirms its commitment to support local talent and foster a prosperous and sustainable economy, in order to continue generating wealth and improving the quality of life of Chihuahua's families.
