With the objective of consolidating the manufacture of national UPS equipment capable of supporting operations for 15 or more minutes after a power outage, the Mexican corporation Complet is planning to invest US$4 million in 2018. “The UPS units made in Mexico result 10 to 20% more economic than imported units, with the advantage that they include personalized assistance for installation, rendering better utilization”, said Horacio Aguirre, Commercial Manager of Complet. He informed that this technology is used in gasoline stations, Subway stations, the Mexibus and airports, among other instances that require support to prevent power outages from stopping or affecting their services.
