Constellation Brands donates US$500,000 to the Mexican Red Cross to fight COVID-19

MEXICO — The Constellation Brands brewery will donate US$500,000 to the Mexican Red Cross, which will be used to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a statement, the company reported that the resources will be distributed at the Ciudad Obregón headquarters in Sonora, Nava in Coahuila, Mexicali in Baja California and Mexico City.

The money will be used to meet the main needs, such as medicines and medical equipment for both health professionals and patients affected by this virus, the brewery explained.

Constellation Brands added that with the purpose of protecting the health of all its collaborators, based on the recommendations of the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Health of the Government of Mexico, it has implemented various measures to prevent and reduce the risks of contagion of COVID-19.
