Constellium inaugurates its plant in San Luis Potosi

With a US$10 million investment and the creation of 240 jobs by 2019, Constellium Automotive Mexico, inaugurated its plant in San Luis Potosi. The complex, which is made up of 5,000 square meters, is located at the Colinas de San Luis Industrial Park, and it has state of the art technology to conform, mechanize, weld and give thermal treatment to aluminum automotive components, along with a last generation quality laboratory to guarantee that the products meet clients' precise specifications. The expectation is to expand the plant to 13,000 square meters in order to adapt to the future supply needs of clients. The Mexican automotive industry expects that roughly five million vehicles will be produced by 2020, turning this into one of the largest automotive production markets.
