Creative Technology and Innovation Center “Block” presented in California

CALIFORNIA - The mayor of Querétaro, Luis Nava, presented the Center for Innovation and Creative Technology “Block” to Californian authorities headed by Emily Desai, Senior Deputy Director of Global Strategy and Programming and External Affairs of the Government of California of the United States.

The project attracted the attention of Californian authorities for generating an innovation ecosystem from scratch in Latin America, in addition to presenting the incubation and entrepreneurship programs that are promoted there.

The above, as part of the activities carried out at the Farnborough Aerospace Fair in London, England, where Luis Nava explores the possibility of collaborating on innovation issues, to create synergy between both governments for the development of technological projects.

“We are working together with the State Government in the promotion and attraction of investments… we are making a very intense work agenda to collaborate and reach important agreements for the development of talent in Queretaro,” said Luis Nava.

There, the Secretary of Sustainable Development of the municipality of Queretaro, Alejandro Sterling, highlighted the importance of being present where the development opportunities are, such as this Aerospace Fair.

In addition, Luis Nava also witnessed the signing of an agreement between the Aeronautical University and GE Aerospace within the UDC University Development Center Project, which aims to develop a collaborative space for UNAQ students, who perform their internships with GE Aerospace, to work effectively from the school without moving to the company.
