Cummins opens Research & Development center in San Luis Potosi
Almost a year after laying the foundation stone, the Cummins Mexico Research and Development Center officially opened, a project that seeks to create new alternatives in the remanufacturing of engines, official said at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Right next to its manufacturing plant in San Luis Potosi stands this Research & Development Center equipped with state-of-the-art technology, so that its employees develop new efficient and sustainable solutions for the transportation industry.
The company created 30 high-paying jobs and invested US$ 10 million in the 26,900 square-feet facility and a wide range of tools, including a 3D printing.
