Danish company Vestas to supply for the largest wind energy project in Mexico

Vestas Wind Systems won an order of 424 megawatt turbines by Zumia Energia for the largest wind energy project in Mexico. The Reynosa wind park will be located in Tamaulipas, according to an electronic statement. Each one of the turbines will have a 3.45 megawatt capacity. The order includes a service contract for 15 years with the delivery of turbines scheduled in 2017 and the activation, by 2018. Zumia Energia is a Mexican energy company, with support from Actis and Mesoamerica, two private capital firms.
