Details of treated water works reviewed for Tesla’s arrival in NL

NUEVO LEON - In order to improve the conditions to take advantage of nearshoring and the arrival of more companies, the Governor of Nuevo Leon, made a supervisory tour for the start of works for the regional development of the West Zone of Santa Catarina and treated water infrastructure for the next Tesla plant.

Accompanied by state and municipal officials, Samuel Garcia said that the improvement of road and water infrastructure is a very important step for the economic and social development of the state, offering better opportunities for the growth and welfare of the state.

During the tour, it was highlighted that the area where the Tesla plant is to be installed will have the highest growth in the entire country, and consequently, this development pole would be able to receive up to 30 billion dollars of investment in the next three years.

It was also indicated that the Santa Catarina area is projected to become the epicenter of electromobility to produce the largest volume of electric cars in the world.

Regarding sustainability, the Governor clarified that Nuevo León will only allow the installation of companies that do not pollute, that use treated water in their production processes, solar panels, renewable energies and with better paid jobs.

García Sepúlveda pointed out that Agua y Drenaje is preparing a project in several phases so that this area will have potable water for human consumption in Santa Catarina, San Pedro, García and the periphery; and treated water for this green industry of the future.
