With a US$21.3 million investment, the largest logistics firm in the world, DHL, opened its distribution center in El Salto, Jalisco, and this week is going to open another one in Nuevo Leon. The new establishments will ensure continuity in corporate operations, and that in Mexico, DHL Express, makes 153 thousand daily shipments on average and generates more than 6,000 jobs in the country. A total of US.$10.6 million were invested just for the facilities in Jalisco, inaugurated this Tuesday, which will in turn increase operational capacity by up to 58% in 16,000 square meters, compared to the previous plant, in addition to being a semi automatized building.
