Embraco to increase manufacturing capacity

Embraco, a Brazilian manufacturer of compressors, estimates producing up to 5.5 million of compressors at the plant located in the municipality of Apodaca, which would represent an added 10% from the current annual production. The Embraco plant had a production line with capacity for 2 million compressors five years ago. There are currently three lines and about 5 million compressors are made. “We still have some capacity available in the Wisemotion line; and we are investing to increase the capacity in the other two lines; we expect growth rates of roughly 10% by next year, thus increasing our production to 5.5 million compressors."
