Enel venturing into the energy supply in Mexico
Enel, a Corporation with Italian capital, is launching its qualified supply branch in Mexico, with plans to serve at least 150 major clients; this would stand for a yearly demand of 400 gigawatts per hour and estimated sales of US$35 million. Likewise, their estimate is to reach 1,000 clients within five years, that is 25% of the currently eligible clients that have constant consumption rates above 1 megawatt, whether stand-alone or by addition of their demand, as long as the same economic interest is represented.
