ESON Precision Engineering will invest US$ 15 million in Tijuana during 2017, which will be used for a plant expansion and growth projects involving high technology, which will require specialized jobs, informed the General Manager of the company, J.C. Chang. In the Tijuana operation, located at La Jolla Industrial Park, ESON will be increasing its capacity to supply to Tesla, an electric car automotive firm, which will represent 500 new specialty jobs. The installation of this new factory of components for Tesla strengthens Baja California's automotive sector, as this firm offers spaces for qualified labor force, with wages exceeding the standard in the industry.
