EuroTranciatura inaugurates its third plant in Queretaro

QUERETARO - The governor of Querétaro, Mauricio Kuri González, inaugurated the third plant of EuroTranciatura Laminaciones EuroGroup in the state, a company that plans to generate around 500 new jobs.

The general manager of EuroTranciatura Mexico, Eduardo Arana Collazo, indicated that this new plant will be dedicated 100% to the production of lamination packages for electric car traction motors.

In addition, more than 50 million euros will be invested in this third EuroTranciatura plant between this year and the next three years.

It is worth mentioning that EuroTranciatura Laminaciones EuroGroup currently has a workforce of approximately 2,800 employees, seven production plants in Italy and five abroad.

For his part, the Secretary of Sustainable Development, Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero, said he was pleased to witness the opening of EuroTranciatura Laminaciones EuroGroup's new plant, a company that has reaffirmed its confidence in Querétaro by announcing its expansion during one of the Governor's tours of activities abroad in 2023.

He highlighted that this investment is in addition to Queretaro's automotive sector, which from January to September 2023 reported exports of US$6.6 billion. This represents an annual growth of 16.5 percent, in addition to accounting for 49.2 percent of the total products exported by the state.
