Eurotranciatura opens its second manufacturing plant in Queretaro

After more than 11 years of operations in Queretaro, Eurotranciatura Mexico, a manufacturer of electrical steel laminations, today opened its second production plant in the state. 

The company invested more than US$ 25 million and recruited 100 high-qualified workers in order to establish this facility which incorporates technologies of the so-called Industry 4.0, such as highly-automated processes, data exchange and Internet of Things.

Eurotranciatura Mexico is a subsidiary of Italy-based Euro Group, a manufacturer that specializes in the production of loose blanked laminations or interlocked laminations for rotating electrical machinery designed for a wide range of industrial applications: automotive, white goods, domotics (home automation), power tools, generators, wind generators, geared motors, electric motors, hermetic motors, domestic appliances, pumps and ventilation.

The company is one of the leading worldwide manufacturers of alternator stator cores for the automotive industry.

Eurotranciatura Mexico comprises all the technologies of Euro Group. Its facilities are equipped with machines of the latest design and technology the market has to offer. The production capability consists of: high-speed presses ranging from 125 to 600 tons, running progressive dies producing loose laminations and interlocked stacks.

The company also operates single notching presses for low volume and large diameter laminations, die casting presses (both horizontal and vertical), and a large capacity annealing and steam bluing furnace.

The group’s latest slinky lines for production of alternator stator cores for automotive applications have also been installed in the Mexico facility.
