Japan-based drivetrain systems manufacturer Exedy Corporation completed a US$87.8 million investment at its subsidiary Exedy-Dynax Mexico, bringing about 647 new jobs to its production site located in central state of Aguascalientes.

This is the third capital investment the Japanese clutches and torque converters manufacturer makes in Aguascalientes, meant to expand the facilities in the plant by 136,000 square meters.

This plant serves clients such as Jatco, Nissan, Isuzu, Suzuki, Ford, General Motors, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Hyundai and Honda.

Exedy-Dynax started operations in Aguascalientes in 2011. Two years later the company expanded operations and moved to a new facility.
