FAMEX 2021 is inaugurated

MEXICO – From what will be the Felipe Angeles International Airport (AIFA), the President of Mexico, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, inaugurated the fourth edition of the Aerospace Fair Mexico (FAMEX) 2021.

During the inauguration, Lopez Obrador mentioned that this Fair shows the progress of the aerospace industry in the country, as well as the Felipe Angeles International Airport, currently under construction.

"We will continue to encourage foreign and domestic investment. There are exceptional opportunities in Mexico," Lopez Obrador mentioned.

The United States is the guest country of the fourth edition, a nation that covers 49% of the global aerospace industry with a market that represents US$408.4 billion. In the last edition, held in 2019, it was Canada.

It is worth mentioning that FAMEX was forced to change venue at the last minute, after the government of Queretaro suspended the celebration at the Intercontinental Airport of Queretaro (AIQ) due to the sanitary contingency caused by the COVID-19.
