FAMEX 2025 will be a benchmark for space

MEXICO - In the next edition of the Mexican Aerospace Fair (FAMEX) 2025, the aim is to balance the presence of exhibitors with the presence of leaders of national and international organizations and decision makers who may be interested in doing business in Mexico, said General Disraelí Gómez Herrera, director of the Aerospace Fair Committee.

During the last edition of the BJX Summit Aerospace 4.0 2024, the General told A21 that the aim is for the leaders who attend to be decision makers to establish themselves, buy or sell in the country.

He added that one of the topics to be addressed in this new edition of FAMEX 2025, to be held from April 23 to 26 next year, will be related to space.

“The topic of space has grown a lot, in combination with Mexican institutions such as the Mexican Space Agency (AEM), the Ministry of Economy (SE) and several companies, we are committed to talk about space, not only about academic topics, but also as a business for Mexico, to develop or continue promoting the aerospace industry,” he said.

The General was confident that attending this event will be a very pleasant experience; “logistically we are going to work so that our visitors can enjoy the event”.

He said they hope that small and medium-sized companies, as well as other related sectors of the aerospace industry, such as the plastics, glass, metal and manufacturing industries, will be able to approach and have meetings with large companies and learn about their needs in order to work with them.

General Gómez Herrera said that this 2025 will be the 10th anniversary of FAMEX and the guest country, on this occasion, will be Brazil.

“We will adorn our fair with cultural activities from the opening, the second day will have an event with our friends from Brazil, the United States and Canada to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II,” he added.

For the air show, the forces of Brazil, the United States and Canada have been invited and will bring their aircraft.
