FEMIA is ready to face COVID-19

MEXICO —The Mexican Federation of Aerospace Industries (FEMIA) pointed out that aerospace plants within Mexico are still operating, however given the world panorama and the coronavirus pandemic, they are already taking preventive measures in the face of a possible scenario of suspension of activities.

“Currently we are not operating in a” regular “way, there’s people working from home, we are adding shifts; yes there are damages, but it is not known how much damage there will be,” said Luis Lizcano, director of FEMIA

FEMIA emphasized that manufacturing plants operate under established safety and health schemes (temperature scanners for entry and exit, brigades with doctors and separate units as well as social distancing)
