Finsa to build its fifth industrial park in Nuevo León

NUEVO LEON - Finsa, a developer led by Sergio Argüelles, announced the construction of its fifth industrial park located in Nuevo León, which will be carried out in two phases and will be located on land recently acquired by the company.

The project will cover 79 hectares and is expected to house 20 companies, which could generate around 35,000 direct and indirect jobs.

"We are very excited to start this new project in Nuevo Leon, which responds to market demand and interest in Mexico. Nearshoring continues to be a key driver for the Mexican industrial sector, and we are ready to take advantage of this," commented Argüelles, president and CEO of the developer.

Finsa Monterrey Apodaca II, as the industrial park will be called, will be part of the company's new generation of sustainable real estate, as it contemplates the application of circular economies, such as the installation of water reuse treatment plants and solar panels to service the common areas of the industrial park, in addition to ensuring the supply of energy with a 20 MVA (megavoltampere) electrical substation.

"Finsa's commitment to Mexico is to promote industrial development with parks that have the necessary infrastructure for the best global companies to establish their operations, and most importantly, to generate sources of employment in decent spaces," added Argüelles.

Currently, within Finsa's four industrial parks in Nuevo León (Guadalupe, Monterrey Apodaca, Santa Catarina and Santa Catarina II), 94 companies operate, generating close to 31,000 jobs and serving strategic sectors such as automotive, electronics, metal-mechanics, warehousing and logistics.
