First Economic Zones to start formally in late May: Gutierrez Candiani

Gerardo Gutierrez Candiani, head of the Federal Authority for the Development of Special Economic Zones, detailed that out of the nearly 140 companies that have submitted applications to participate, there is advance with 37 of them that have complied with the nine stages of negotiation. Lazaro Cardenas, Puerto Chiapas and the Veracruz, Oaxaca and Yucatan region, are the Special Economic Zones (ZEE) to formally start operating by late May. Gutierrez Candiani explained that the necessary authorizations will be ready within the next few days, in order to issue the corresponding release of information.
