Johnson Health Tech (JHT), an Asian Firm based out of Taiwan dedicated to  producing gym equipment, is planning to open a new production plant in Mexico, almost two years after its first arrival into this Country, where it carried out only sales and distribution operations so far. "Transportation makes up one of our primary expenses, representing around 12% of the total, which is why we are now evaluating to open a plant in Mexico to serve the US and South American markets", said Jason Lo, General Director of JHT. US is the country with the largest number of gyms inn the world, with 30,500. Followed by Brazil, with 23,398; and Mexico, with 7,826, according to the International Health and Sports Clubs Association.
