MEXICO — The Brazilian executive airline Flapper, will offer shared flights and charter flights in Mexico as of the second quarter of 2020.

“The Mexican market is attractive to us for several reasons, including a large domestic fleet, proximity to the United States and the existence of a private aviation center at the Toluca airport. Our intention is to turn private aviation into the main travel option, “said Paul Malicki, CEO of Flapper.

In Mexico, the company has already registered its first 10 air taxi operators and it is currently in talks to finance its expansion. Through a statement, Flapper estimated that the size of the Mexican market amounts to US$700 million.
