Ford Cuautitlan excels in innovation

Ford de Mexico’s Cuautitlan Stamping and Assembly Plant (CSAP) was recognized as one of the company’s top facilities worldwide for generating innovation projects, ranking alongside other leading plants located in Valencia and Thailand.
The recognition is based on the results achieved by the Mexican plant’s team over the past year, during which it developed 198 projects focused on strengthening operational excellence, safety, and quality within manufacturing processes. According to the company, these initiatives have helped optimize production and improve working conditions through the incorporation of advanced technologies.
Some of the elements that set the Cuautitlan plant apart include the application of Artificial Intelligence to proactively identify and address issues related to employee safety and ergonomics.
The company highlighted that the projects developed in Mexico have enabled the establishment of practices that are now considered benchmarks within the organization.
According to Ford de Mexico, this approach posits that tools such as artificial intelligence, automation, and digitization function as elements that enhance human capabilities, rather than replacing them, with the aim of creating work environments that are safer, more efficient, and aligned with environmental goals.
