Ford Getrag Corporation is in its testing stage to start operations next October. This, according to the words of David Pascual Alemany, General Director of the Castro del Rio Tecnoindustrial Park, who pointed out that all of the operative decisions are made by the companies, and he is aware that this firm is going to start operations the next month and this investment is thereby guaranteed.   Ford Getrag decided to expand its facilities, located at the Castro del Rio Tecnoindustrial Park, with an approximate investment of US$1.3 billion, employing over a thousand people.
