Foreign airfreight to double over the next 10 years
According to the National Airborne (CANAERO), the transportation of international airfreight will double within the next 10 years, once the conditions of infrastructure and regulation in Mexico are set. Sergio Allard, President of CANAERO, envisaged that once the bilateral air agreement with the U.S.A. is updated, imports and exports could double. Ricardo Dadoo, founder of Dadoo Logistics Consultant, considers that cargo will also be boosted with the establishment of the Mexico City New International Airport (NAICM). Products such as pharmaceutical, high-value goods, critical auto parts for the production chain, inputs for the aerospace industry and emergency packages, travel by air cargo.
