French investment is earning a spot in the Mexican economy. Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) from France in Mexico totaled US$ 3.79 billion from 1999 to 2016. The manufacturing industries, commerce, transport and financial services are the main sectors concentrating this investment. Companies like Hutchinson, Faurecia, Nutran, C3 Internacional, Pierangeli, Demotechnic, Sarrel and Michelin have gambled investment in the State of Guanajuato and French investors have a 2.7% participation in FDI inflow, according to data from the Ministry of Economy. The sectors with the most probability of commercial relation with France for the upcoming years are: Aeronautic, Automotive and Health.
