French suppliers want to reach Queretaro
Alfred Rodriguez, President of the French-Mexican Chamber of Commerce in Mexico, affirmed that, due to the consolidation of aeronautic projects in the Central region of the country, supplier companies from France are keeping an eye out to arrive into the area. Queretaro is listed among the possible locations, as one of the main options to establish the investment. “The phenomenon we are seeing is that, from next year on, there are going to be much more investment projects for small and medium businesses rather than for large groups. There is growing interest among French companies in collaborating with Queretaro. This is the State in the Bajio region where our French industry has more presence, especially in the aeronautic sector”, he added. According to reports from the Ministry of Economy (SE), French investment in Queretaro was valued at US$157.3 million at the end of the first trimester of 2016.
