Fuerda Smartech to build new plant in Coahuila

RAMOS ARIZPE, COAH - Fuerda Smartech, a Chinese company, announced an investment of US$28.2 million in the municipality of Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, where it will generate 500 direct jobs for the production of intelligent electronic systems for the automotive industry.

The governor of the state, Manolo Jiménez, accompanied the company's directors in the announcement of the investment, which will be installed in the Chuy María Ramón industrial park, and affirmed that the arrival of Fuerda Smartech, maintains the positive trend that the state maintains in the generation of employment.

“With this investment by Fuerda, 500 new jobs will be created, in addition to the thousands of jobs we have been creating this year,” said Manolo Jiménez.

The state president wished the investors the same success as other companies that have bet on Coahuila, and after several months, have expressed their expansion projects.

Manolo Jimenez, added that the stability and security that the state has, allows the arrival of this type of investment, which in turn, is transformed into a better quality of life for citizens, as there are greater opportunities for employment and prosperity.

The human resources director of Fuerda Smartech, Antonio Martinez Balderas, affirmed that the company has a growth project in the state, since despite starting with a rented space, they are looking to double the space to increase production capacity.

Antonio Martinez said that the investors decided to bet on the state, considering aspects such as security, labor stability, and the qualified labor force of the region.

The plant will be located in Ramos Arizpe, in the Chuy María Ramón Industrial Park.

Specifically, Fuerda designs, builds, manufactures and distributes intelligent optoelectronic systems, functional cockpit parts and electronic modules, such as vehicle entry and starter systems, USB, motors and air conditioning controllers for high and mid-range vehicle manufacturers.
