GE invests US$2 million in Saltillo

General Electric, through its subsidiary Unison Industries, inaugurated the new facilities of its manufacturing plant at the La Angostura Industrial Park, in Saltillo, Coahuila, where accessories and control systems for airplane motors are produced. With an investment of US$2 million, the complex managed by Manufacturas Zapaliname went from 6,500 square meters to 9,700 sq.m area. It is expected to reach a 16,000 square meters surface for the long term. Besides, GE will have a 30% increase of their workforce, going from 350 to 500 jobs, informed the Company in a statement.
