General Motors with the lowest wages in the industry

GUANAJUATO - General Motors (GM) is one of the vehicle manufacturers that offers the lowest wages in Mexico, according to a study conducted by the Center for Labor Research and Union Consulting (CILAS).

According to the analysis, the U.S. Company General Motors is the automaker that offers the lowest wages in Mexico.

On the other hand, Volkswagen is the automotive company that offers the best salaries, benefits and bonuses to its employees.

According to the CILAS study, Volkswagen salaries range from US$13.32 to US$4,334 per day.

In second place is Audi Mexico, with salaries ranging from US$13.5 to US$42.1 per day; followed by Nissan, with salaries ranging from US$170.97 to US$3,422 per day.

In fourth place is General Motors, with salaries ranging from US$894 to US$3,295 per day.

In terms of benefits, according to the CILA study, Volkswagen offers 19 days annual salary for punctuality and 28 days bonuses.

While Nissan offers two days of annual salary for punctuality. Audi offers monthly and annual bonuses for punctuality, as well as extra payments for quality issues.

At General Motors there are no such benefits in the collective bargaining agreement, which will end in October this year.
