A German company from the automotive sector plans to build a Research & Development center in Queretaro, representing an investment of nearly US$ 62 million, local authorities revealed to Periodico am.

Daniel Rodriguez Parada, head of Sustainable Development in the city of Queretaro, the state capital, said he’s not authorized yet to disclose the name of the company, but anticipated it will generate 1,000 high-paying jobs.

"In a couple of weeks, we will be able to announce this investment where very high qualified jobs will be generated, well paid, not for labor but for research and development with an investment of 50 million euros," he said.
