German firm ZF inaugurating plant in Durango

With an investment valued at US$17 million, German origin firm ZF inaugurated its plant in the municipality of Gomez Palacio, Durango. The plan is to employ around 1,500 people during its first stage. ZF is a worldwide leading group in transmission and chassis technology, as well as active and passive security. The Company was born in Germany in the year 1915 and it has presence in Europe, Asia, North America and South America. It has 230 locations in 40 countries, and is globally employing approximately 137,000 workers. Jesus Rosas Aispuro, governor of Durango; Leticia Vera, mayor of Gomez Palacio; Jesus Gomez, Manager of the ZF plant in Laguna, were present during the inauguration, as well as government officers, entrepreneurs, academia members, and other relevant players.
