Hanon Systems to invest US$3.9 million in Queretaro

QUERETARO  Yonas Sirgew, director of the Hanon Systems Plant in Querétaro reported that the Korean company will expand its production at a manufacturing plant that will occupy an area ranging from 3,000 to 15,000 square meters.

The automotive company will produce intelligent thermal solutions; its main customers will be the Mazda and Ford companies.

Said expansion involves an investment of US$3.9 million and will allow the creation of 374 new high-skilled jobs.

Francisco Domínguez Servién, governor of Querétaro, stressed that Hanon Systems will be part of the US$576 million of foreign direct investment that the entity received during the first half of 2019, followed by Aguascalientes with US$280 million and San Luis Potosí with US$265 million.
