The firm Vichisa will invest US$ 200 million to build its ninth glass container manufacturing plant in Mexico, in the municipality of Meoqui (located 70 kilometers South of Chihuahua city). With a 145 mil tons of glass production, equivalent to 750 million bottles, it will contribute to the production chain of the Heineken brewing company, which will start operations next October at the beer factory which is under construction in the same town. This construction will start this upcoming October and the facilities will have state-of-the-art technologies, with the highest standards for security, quality and sustainability, beside spearhead technology to produce different-sized bottles to satisfy the needs of its customers, primarily the Dutch beer brewer in this case.
