Home Depot Mexico announced US$90 million investment for 2018

Home Depot is going to invest US$90 million in Mexico during 2018 to open new business units, give maintenance to its stores and enhance its e-commerce platform. The number of stores to be refurbished adds up to 122, with two or three new business units opening throughout the year. Additionally, the upward trend in sales is expected to continue, hence maintaining the investment rate. The update to the online portal will focus on providing clients access through not only their computers, but also via smart phone, as well as reducing response times. The plan is to upload to this online site the entire catalog of the products available in the Mexico store, while adding exclusive products to this sales platform.
