Horizon Auto Logistics inaugurates offices in Veracruz

VERACRUZ - The U.S. company Horizon Auto Logistics, which specializes in automotive terminals and logistics, inaugurated its corporate offices in the port of Veracruz as part of its strategy to optimize the vehicle supply chain in Mexico.

The new headquarters seeks to improve customer service and expand automotive operations in the country.

Carlos Renteral, vice president and director for Mexico, emphasized that this opening is a key pillar in the implementation of a renewed operating model, oriented towards efficiency and customer satisfaction.

“We want to consolidate our position in Mexico and strengthen our commitment to the regional automotive industry,” he said.

During the event, held at the port's Historic Center, Renteral read a message sent by Per Folkesson, CEO of Horizon Auto Logistics, who was unable to attend due to the effects of Hurricane Milton in Florida.

Horizon Auto Logistics already has a presence in strategic points of the country, such as Cuapiaxtla, Tlaxcala, and Mata Loma, Veracruz, just 15 kilometers from the port. In 2023, the company handled around 150,000 vehicles through its facilities in Veracruz, and significant growth is projected by the end of this year.

Globally, Horizon operates in ten international markets, employs more than 800 people and manages more than 1.2 million vehicles and equipment annually. Its comprehensive offering includes services for finished vehicles, such as port handling, vehicle management and vehicle storage.
