HUF Mexico to invest US$ 54 million in Puebla

CORONANGO Huf Mexico will invest US$54million in the municipality of Coronango, Puebla, building a new facility in alliance with the Chinese company Baolong Electronics which is expected to start operations on 2020.

The project contemplates as well the expansion of its current plant, generating 237 new jobs that will be added to 672 job positions.

For his part, the president of HUF Mexico, Carlos Manuel Almeida Marques, stressed that the investment is focused on productive capacity and technology and HUF Mexico exports are expected to grow 50% in the next three years.

HUF Mexico was founded in 2008 in San Francisco Ocotlán, Coronango, Puebla. The company develops and manufactures access, security and immobilization solutions for cars, such as: locks, door handles, rear view cameras, and PCB’s. Its main customers are BMW, FCA, Ford, GM and Volkswagen.
