Hyundai sales accelerating with the new Accent Made in Mexico
The company is expecting to reach to reach 20,000 units per year within the first year of production for the local market. Hyundai Motor Mexico is betting on growing and accelerating its participation in the market by launching the sub compact model Accent, which will be produced in Mexico starting this year. The Korean company will start to manufacture this vehicle between late July and early August in Pesqueria, Nuevo Leon, at the Kia plant which belongs to Hyundai. There are prospects for exports to Latin America, as well as Canada. The assembly plant will have capacity for up to 100,000 units.
