Inadet and SAFRAN will train operators to boost aerospace industry growth

The Instituto de Apoyo al Desarrollo Tecnológico (Inadet) and SAFRAN Aerosystems signed a collaboration agreement to strengthen training and the development of human capital in the aerospace sector in Chihuahua.

As part of this alliance, the pilot program of the Industrial School was inaugurated, a specialized training space where operators will be trained in the manufacturing process of evacuation slides, under the highest safety and quality standards.

During the opening ceremony, the head of the Ministry of Innovation and Economic Development (SIDE), Ulises Fernández Gamboa, highlighted the joint work to materialize this type of project that seeks to train a new generation of trained specialists with the necessary tools to face the challenges of the future.

Fernandez mentioned that the creation of the school is not only a milestone in technical education in Chihuahua, but also a tangible example of what can be achieved when the public, private and social sectors work together to generate value and well-being for Chihuahua's families.

According to SIDE figures, Inadet has trained more than 270,000 people and in the last three years, 78 percent of the total have been trained.

Jorge Acosta, general manager of SAFRAN, emphasized that every time there is a new project, the company “says yes”, because it has an ecosystem made up of government, industry and academia.

As part of the event, an official certificate was presented to 30 people who recently completed their training in the cementing operation at the SAFRAN Aerosystems Industrial School through the High Technology Training Center (Cenaltec).
