With just sixty days to go before the World Cup, the “Ponte Nuevo, Ponte Mundial” initiative unveiled its seventh lineup, led by Index, Metalsa, and Finsa, as part of a joint effort between the government and the private sector to strengthen Nuevo Leon’s urban, social, and economic environment.

Index stands out with a contribution of US$243,000, coordinating the efforts of more than 270 companies and 400,000 employees.

Finsa is also joining with an investment of US$231,000 to adopt La Pastora Park, covering its maintenance for the next three years.

For its part, Metalsa will implement initiatives in education, health, the environment, and social welfare, including improvements to educational infrastructure, STEM programs, support for vulnerable populations, and reforestation campaigns.

The seventh group also includes Daltile, Edel Ascensores, the University of Monterrey (UDEM), Harmon Hall, Woohoo, Unilever, and CANADEVI Nuevo Leon, with initiatives focused on urban rehabilitation, social inclusion, training, and sustainability.

Already, 73 companies have joined “Ponte Nuevo, Ponte Mundial,” an initiative that seeks to accelerate the state’s transformation through collaboration between the public and private sectors and civil society, centered on three pillars: urban, economic, and social improvement.
