Cesar Bueno, General Director of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Mexico (CanCham), assured that the aeronautic sector represents an important alternative for future investment from Canadian firms in the Bajio region, especially in Queretaro. He remarks the Bombardier example, a Company which manufactures in Queretaro and in the U.S. and completes its assembly process in Canada. At a national level, though, there is a bilateral panorama, where Canada must negotiate bilateral instances with the U.S., where Mexico “has nothing to do”. Likewise, Mexico will handle U.S. affairs which have no relation with Canada, hence not affecting the Canada-Mexico relation.
