UK-based Delphi subsidiary Hellermann Tyton started operations in recent days at a production facility after a US$ 10 million investment.

The manufacturer of cable management solutions built a plant which will be dedicated to plastics injection to produce harnesses for car engine cables.

Once the plant is working at 100% of its installed capacity, it will uphold a maximum of 700 direct jobs.

The plant will be located into the Vynmsa Industrial Park, in the municipality of Escobedo, with a production area of 10,000 square meters, with expectations to grow to 20,000 in 2018.
