JAC Mexico launched its J4 Trend sedan, which is assembled at the Giant Motors Latin America (GML) plant in Ciudad Sahagun, Hidalgo.

"It has Mexican VIN, in addition to having national integration and technological and connectivity applications specially adapted to the needs of Mexican consumers," the company said in a statement.

JAC Mexico highlighted that it is a class A model, which combines technology and European design with the security features demanded by Mexican standards.

This vehicle, which will have a price of 209,000 pesos (around US$ 10,000), is equipped with ABS brakes on the front wheels and electronic braking distribution that ensures the stability of the brake direction.

"It has a 1.5-liter variable valve timing (VVT) engine, which improves the fuel economy," the company said.

The JAC brand has 14 agencies in the country, located in Naucalpan, Puebla, Cancún, Mérida, Guadalajara, Aguascalientes, Mexico City, Oaxaca, Torreon, Queretaro, Pachuca, Morelia, Acapulco and Colima.
