Brazil and Mexico have signed a customs agreement

The Latin American nations, Mexico and Brazil, signed the "Agreement on cooperation and mutual administrative assistance in customs matters", during the XIII Pacific Alliance Summit, in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco.

The document was signed by the General Administrator of Customs, Francisco Gil Leyva, and the Brazilian Ambassador to Mexico, Mauricio Carvalho Lyrio, in the presence of Enrique Peña Nieto and Michel Temer, Presidents of Mexico and Brazil, respectively.

The agreement’s objective is to develop and make more effective the collaboration between the nations’ authorities and customs.
