Executives and collaborators of the Continental Las Colinas plant in Silao, Guanajuato held a celebration to commemorate 15 years of operation. The event was headed by Matthias Matic, vice president of the business unit and Lutz Marczinski, plant director.

In his speech, Matthias Matic commented that there are nine global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) that receive products manufactured by Continental Las Colinas, such as servo-brake units, windshield wiper systems and drum brakes.

On his turn, Lutz Marczinski commented: “We have achieved a lot, we continuously maintain our certifications including the FORD Q1, we receive excellence awards from our Toyota customer, we won CBS internal awards for R & D, quality and perfect launch. All this is reflected in a positive reputation of Las Colinas Plant within Continental Corporation and our customers.”

The history of the plant began in 2004 with the commissioning of the first line of brake booster units. Over the years, thanks to the confidence gained with customers through the high quality of work, the equipment and staff of the plant have been in a strong growth.
