NUEVO LAREDO The Federal Office of Environmental Protection (Profepa) granted the Environmental Quality Certificate to the Nuevo Laredo International Airport, as part of compliance with the auditing processes of the National Environmental Audit Program (PNAA).

The terminal of Tamaulipas fulfilled a series of taskts that endorsed the current environmental regulations, in addition to registering before the Secretariat of the Environment and Natural Resources (Semarnat) as a company committed to the management of hazardous waste.

This audit is voluntary and independent of the inspection and surveillance actions and promotes the identification of opportunities for improvement as well as the implementation of projects that reduce pollution, reported Airports and Auxiliary Services in a statement.
